Morgan Business Sales, Australia's leading national business brokerage firm, have announced their award winners for the 2022/23 financial year.

One broker in each state was presented with a 'Business Broker Of The Year' award, while a few other awards including the prestigious 'National Business Broker Of The Year' were given out.

The awards were based on sales data from the preceding 12 months and were presented in person at the Morgan Business Sales annual conference which was held at Coolangatta, QLD.

In Newcastle and for the state of New South Wales, the winner for the 2022/23 financial year was Brendan Morgan. It was Brendan's first time taking out the coveted 'New South Wales Broker Of The Year' award.

Dru Morgan, the director of Morgan Business Sales, was full of praise for Brendan's performance.

"Brendan is a fantastic business broker. The level of customer service he provides to the sellers he partners with is truly second to none in the market. It's no surprise to see him on top of the ranks in this year's awards".

When queried whether he believed Brendan could take out the NSW award for a second consecutive time, Mr Morgan declared that while he'll be in the mix, he will be hard pressed.

"There are so many fantastic listings coming on to start this new financial year. While Brendan will have his share of them, he won't be alone in having a great selection of quality stock. Next year's awards will be our closest yet."

Reflecting on the event and the year that had been, Mr Morgan stated that he couldn't have been prouder of his team.

"The 2022/23 financial year was another record setting year for our brokerage as we continue our trend of year on year growth. This would not be possible without our amazing team. It was great to get the opportunity to recognise some of the outstanding work our brokers are doing."
