Engineering Director, Inc. (EDI) is an engineering consulting firm specializing in developing, implementing, and measuring lean business processes and strategies, through the effective use of Information Technology (IT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

EDI just launched the FLUXMETER™ App which helps measure the invisible electromagnetic fields that surround us. This utility uses your device's built-in magnetometer to scan for 50/60 Hz alternating current (AC) waves, emanating from power lines.  The FLUXMETER™ App is free and available for download at the Apple Store.

Joe Mazzella EDI President says, "FLUXMETER™ App uses a proprietary algorithm to zero out the Earth's magnetic field, allowing measurements of the local area magnetic flux only."

Tom Hayden EDI CTO says, "we know proprietary Electromagnetic Frequency (EMF) sensors with data logging capabilities can cost thousands of dollars.  This app is completely free and compatible with all Apple devices."

Len Krissa Enbridge Pipelines, Engineering Specialist says, "The FLUXMETER™ App has enabled the collection of information that was previously specialized, expensive, and limited now easily accessible and mainstream."

Gerald Haynes Elsyca Inc. US Regional Manager Corrosion Engineering says, "A very pragmatic and extremely useful tool, which is also with you all of the time (in your mobile device), giving you an immediate understanding of the EMF and potential HVAC interference risk."
